CRYSTALYX® VCNP RECEIVER supplement is designed for free-choice feeding to calves, preweaning and/or post weaning. CRYSTALYX® VCNP RECEIVER will provide 7 grams of Zinpro Availa® 4 in 0.5 pounds of supplement, and meets Zinpro's recommendation for intake of organic trace minerals to be in compliance in a Verified Calf Nutrition Program. CRYSTALYX® VCNP RECEIVER should be fed 45 days prior to weaning and 45 days post weaning. CRYSTALYX® VCNP RECEIVER is fortified with electrolytes and high levels of vitamins and trace minerals to help overcome nutritional stress associated with shipping and/or weaning.
Free-choice consumption will depend on the location of the supplement blocks, size of animals fed, as well as quality, source and availability of other feeds. Place containers in areas that achieve desired supplement intake. Feed at the rate of one container for every 20-30 head, or pair, if still on pasture. A minimum of two (2) containers may be necessary in each lot or pasture to ensure proper accessibility. Consumption may vary from 0.25 to 0.50 pounds per head per day.
